Project Developer (Washington, D.C.)

We are seeking a Project Developer to support the advancement of solar energy projects across key U.S. markets. This role plays an important part in building and moving projects through the early and mid stages of development, with a focus on land acquisition, interconnection, and overall project execution. The Project Developer will work closely with senior development leadership and internal teams to help grow a high-quality project pipeline in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

●      Support the identification, evaluation, and advancement of new solar development opportunities

●      Assist with securing land rights, interconnection positions, and core development deliverables

●      Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to move projects forward efficiently

●      Help manage project budgets, schedules, and development milestones

●      Build and maintain relationships with landowners, utilities, consultants, and other stakeholders

●      Identify project risks and support strategies to mitigate development challenges

Qualifications

●      Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

●      Experience in renewable energy, real estate development, infrastructure, or a related field

●      Strong organizational and project management skills

●      Ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of internal and external partners

●      High level of initiative, accountability, and attention to detail

●      Interest in working in a growth-oriented, fast-paced development environment
