Established in 2003, OpenMind Staffing is an Executive and Management search firm that specializes in the placement of management professionals in the Renewables and Commercial Real Estate industries. The company’s philosophy is to find talented, bright, and successful individuals that share common goals with our clients. We do this by searching for candidates who are succeeding in their current positions and then matching their skills, strengths, and attitude with our client’s needs. OpenMind has placed over 1700 professionals since our inception. Best of all, customers continue to work with to work with the team.
Company History
Our founder, Michael Curtin, has been a successful sales and marketing executive for 30 years. As a Partner in a NYC firm that grew from $2 million to $120 million under his leadership, he was responsible for a 120-person national sales force. It was in that role that he realized the need for a staffing partner that he could rely on to present exceptional candidates. Unfortunately, he couldn’t find one, so he opened his own staffing business! He founded his first recruiting firm in 1998. This company went on to place over 60 management professionals in its first year with $1 million in revenue and is still operating today.

Since 2003, OpenMind Staffing has reviewed, edited, or written over 3100 resumes for prospective candidates, producing 2600 interviews and 500 jobs. We work in the real world of corporate hiring and understand what it takes to land interviews.

Molly Liesen
Molly joined OpenMind Staffing in 2025, where she works alongside the team partnering with clients to identify and place exceptional talent. She brings a background in healthcare as a registered nurse, where she developed a strong foundation in patient advocacy, organization and attention to detail, and people-centered problem solving. Her clinical experience informs her thoughtful, empathetic approach to working with both clients and candidates leading with a people-first mindset.
Molly lives in Columbus, Ohio with her husband and daughter.
Jack Curtin
Jack has experience in staffing across engineering, project management, and development roles, with a strong focus on supporting agile, growing teams. He previously worked at two staffing firms, where he held a staffing manager role serving Finance and IT clients.
In 2023, Jack came on board at OpenMind Staffing full-time, working alongside his dad to expand the business and strengthen partnerships with leading clients across the industry. He contributes a structured, solutions-focused mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and a hands-on approach to helping both clients and candidates succeed.
Jack lives in Scottsdale, Arizona
Eleanor Parks
Charlie Curtin
Charlie has a background in project management and business development, with a focus on working closely with small, fast-moving teams. He previously worked at a legal consulting firm, where he served as a project manager supporting cross-functional legal teams and complex client engagements.
In 2024, Charlie joined OpenMind Staffing full time alongside his dad and brother to help grow the business and partner with exceptional clients across the industry. He brings a systems-oriented mindset, strong communication skills, and a practical approach to solving problems for both clients and candidates.
Charlie lives in Tempe, Arizona with his wife and two children.
