Project Manager (EPC)

Location: Remote

Reports to: Director of Project Management

 

Position Summary

The Project Manager will oversee renewable energy projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders. The Project Manager will play a key role in executing and negotiating EPC contracts during the pre-construction phase to set projects up for long-term success.

 

Key Responsibilities

●      Lead projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.

 

●      Support EPC contract negotiation and execution during the pre-construction phase, working closely with internal teams and external partners.

 

●      Develop, monitor, and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and cash flows.

 

●      Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless execution.

 

●      Manage subcontractors, vendors, and consultants to maintain alignment on scope, schedule, and quality.

 

●      Identify, mitigate, and resolve project risks and issues proactively.

 

●      Provide regular updates and reporting to the Director of Project Management and senior leadership.

 

●      Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and all regulatory requirements.


●      Support business development and proposal efforts with project input, budgets, and schedules as needed.

 

 

Qualifications

●      Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

 

●      3+ years of project management experience in renewable energy, utilities, or construction.

 

●      Experience with EPC contract negotiation and execution strongly preferred.

 

●      Strong understanding of EPC project delivery, scheduling software, and project management tools.

 

●      Proven ability to manage budgets, contracts, and cross-functional teams.

 

●      Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

 

●      PMP or similar certification preferred but not required.
